Warehouse Technician - $17/hr 1st shift

Job Description :

We are seeking reliable and motivated people to join our rapidly growing team in Grand Rapids, near the airport. The opportunity to grow and earn promotions is is right here, right now! 


 


Must have previous warehouse/forklift experience.


 


7 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday


Some Saturdays as needed


 


Starting pay minimum - $17/hr.


Bonus potential - $480/quarter (roughly extra $1/hr.)


Paid vacation starting at 17 days


Fully vested in 401k plan after 1 year, employer contribution 50% up to 6% employee contribution


Internal training provided with rapid advancement


College / Trade School tuition reimbursement after 1 year, 50% for job related


Medical / Dental / Vision insurance


Additional performance bonuses often




ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Examining production checklist for completeness and quality levels, and making quality adjustments and repairs, as needed
• Supporting other team members within the assigned cycle, as well as all coordinating between other departments, as needed
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the cycle workstation
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications :

QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of high school diploma or GED
• Forklift & overhead crane experience Preferred




SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Basic understanding of navigating KanBan or other production efficiency processes
• Good communicator verbally
• Self-starter and strong ability to recognize links between roles and departments
• Team player
