Job Description :
Our client is looking for 1st and 2nd shift Warehouse Personnel/Machine Operators in Wayland, MI!
1st Shift up to $18 to $18.50/hr – 5am to 5pm
2nd Shift up to $19 to $19.50/hr - 5pm to 5am
Summary of Job:
Manufacturing of Erosion control products using straw as a primary component. Performs manual labor along a production line. Operates and troubleshoots production equipment. May perform minor repairs as necessary.
Primary Responsibilities:

Operate production machinery
-
Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.

Troubleshoot production machinery
-
Perform equipment changeovers.

Perform preventative maintenance
-
Communicate with operators from other shifts.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
-
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
-
Must be able to bend, stand, and lift 50# or more for a 12-hour shift, must also be able to use stairs.

Manual dexterity required for operating machinery

Responsible for safety, quality and maintaining good working relationships.

Mechanical aptitude is needed; employees may work on equipment as needed.

The ability to stand for a 12-hour shift is required.
