Our client, a major chemical manufacturer, is looking to add a Traning & Development Coordinator to their team in Parma, ID. 

  

These long-term contract positions (possibility of extension or direct hire for the right individual) offer a starting pay rate of $29-38/hour (benefits are available).

 

Job Purpose

Our client, a leading organization in the Vegetable Seeds industry, is looking for an enthusiastic Training & Development Specialist to lead and elevate their employee training programs in Parma, ID.


This is an exciting opportunity to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive training curricula that ensure compliance with regulatory standards while empowering the workforce to achieve safe and efficient operations.


 


Key Responsibilities:




  • Design & Deliver Training Programs:



    • Develop and implement training programs aligned with operational, environmental, health, and safety (EHS) needs.

    • Customize and deliver standard EHS training tailored to the North America division.

    • Provide in-classroom training for life-critical site processes and policies.




  • Build Organizational Excellence:



    • Identify learning and development needs for individuals and teams across the site.

    • Create and execute programs to meet operational, technical, organizational, and leadership development needs.

    • Establish a robust on-the-job (OJT) training program to enhance safety, technical proficiency, and operational reliability.




  • Ensure Compliance & Continuous Improvement:



    • Maintain and oversee Responsible Care Management System (RCMS) training compliance.

    • Evaluate training program effectiveness, implement necessary adjustments, and maintain accurate training records.

    • Support internal and external audits as required.




Required Qualifications :

What We’re Looking For:




  • Education & Experience:



    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of experience; OR high school diploma and 7+ years of relevant experience.




  • Skills & Expertise:



    • Proven experience in EHS and OJT training program development.

    • Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS).

    • Demonstrated success in external auditing and achieving EHS and process safety improvements.

    • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.




  • Passion for Training:



    • A deep commitment to fostering a strong safety culture and developing operational capabilities through team-building and innovative teaching methods.
