Position Overview:



Our client is looking for a motivated and safety-conscious Technician I to join their team, supporting dispensing equipment functions at their site in Central, South Carolina. 


 


This is a long-term contract role with a pay rate of $18.00 hourly (possible extension or direct hire. Benefits available) 


 


 


Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with potential for overtime based on business needs


 


 


Key Responsibilities:



  • Equipment Assembly: Build dispensing equipment assemblies accurately and efficiently, meeting specifications and tight deadlines.

  • Blueprints and Schematics: Learn to read and follow drawing schematics to ensure precision and quality in equipment assembly.

  • Material Handling: Operate and be certified on forklifts, pallet jacks, and 2-wheel carts.

  • Safety Compliance: Wear and utilize all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and perform all mandated safety checks. Attend all mandatory safety meetings to maintain a safe work environment.

  • Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.


 


Required Qualifications :

 



  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role

  • Self-starter with the ability to work well both independently and with a team.

  • Willingness to learn new skills and processes, including equipment assembly and schematic reading.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to following procedures.

  • Ability to operate material handling equipment, with certification provided upon training.

  • Compliance with all safety protocols and standards outlined.
