Our client is looking for a Systems Product Engineer in Auburn Hills, MI!

This is a contract to direct opportunity with an hourly rate of $32-$38/hour based on experience. 

The Systems Product Engineer is responsible for understanding customer needs, configuring initial designs to meet requirements, and assisting in developing major vehicle components.

The Systems Product Engineer will also interface with product design, prototype parts fabrication, vehicle builds, testing, and ensure the vehicle meets specifications aligned with DoD projects. 

The Systems Product Engineer must have a BS degree in Engineering or closely related field, willing to travel off site to test and vendor facilities, 2+ years’ experience in automotive design and manufacturing. Must have knowledge in developing system architecture with the user in mind. 

Recommended Experience:

Developing off highway vehicles, automotive, track systems would be a plus

TeamCenter, other product life cycle management software

CAN/bus Architecture, J19-39

Background in artillery
