Job Description :


This position manages, supervises, and coordinates manages all aspects of purchasing, production planning and scheduling, inventory, shipping and receiving; designs and executes strategies and plans to meet company’s short-term and long-term supply chain management/production control requirements.


Essential Functions


·         Implement a fully functional supply chain management/production control infrastructure.

  • Maintenance and accuracy of data in computer system (input and issuance from inventory, labor reporting, startup of quoting modules, etc.).


·         Promotes a positive work environment.

  • Maintain inventory control.

  • Conduct Forecasting.

  • Complete production planning/scheduling.

  • Manage purchasing/vendor/cost savings approvals.

  • Determine vendor change approvals/testing.

  • Handle distribution and logistics management.

  • Implement Lean Manufacturing concepts and techniques.


·         Maintain new product/item creation in SAP.

·         Oversee recipe management in SAP.

·         Manage S/R departments.

·         Diagnose and solve scheduling problems.

·         Prioritize customer requests for products.

·         Manage weekly war and supply chain meeting.

·         Provide sales information on the daily calls.

·         Aid on promo projections, forecasting, and inventory builds.

·         Manage exports.

·         Work with Finance on RFP’s.

·         Manage material usage and needs.

·         Inventory of finished goods and materials.

·         CHEP program reporting.

·         Run Mock recalls for audits.

·         Work with R&D to source materials and schedule line time.

·         Provide cost savings initiatives.

·         Provide feedback to the management team on new ideas or issues.

·         Be collaborative in solving problems

Required Qualifications :



·         3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management or similar role required, food experience preferred

·         Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Strategic Operations Management, or a related field is required

·         Strong computer skills including SAP and Microsoft Office

·         Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels are essential

·         Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Management procedures, GMP’s in a food manufacturing environment and regulatory guidelines
