We have a great client in Mishawaka, Indiana that is looking for a Sr. Material Planner. 

This is a long-term contract role with an pay rate range of $28-31/hour

Due to the governmental basis of the work, only US Citizens and Green Card Holder will be considered.

The Sr. Material Planner will be responsible for maintaining relationships with vendors, solving logistical/inventory problems, and ensuring optimal timing on deliveries to production facilities. 

This will include:

• Research items for shortage


• Contact suppliers for timely shipments (behind schedule-over shipments)


• Identify accuracy issues of inventory or releases


• Issue VSR


• Timely disposition of DM Materials 6


• Review future production forecast and check materials ordered correctly

The Sr. Material Planner will also have to interact with the public, other employees, consultants, customers, co-workers, and the government.

The successful candidate will need experience with:

• Bachelor's Degree required and 2-5 years’ experience


• Strong organizational skills, knowledge of MS Office Products, and a high level of initiative are expected


• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbal and written, be extremely accurate in quality of work, and be able to work independently


• Good problem-solving skills, SAP experience, and the ability to multitask are required
