Job Description :
We are partnered with a hiring team in South Bend, IN who has the immediate need for a Senior Cost Accountant to join their team.
This is a full-time/direct hire opportunity!
The Senior Cost Accountant will be responsible for:
- Standard cost and variance analysis
- Closing
- Account reconciliations
- SAP testing and development
- Physical inventory duties
- Special Projects
Required Qualifications :
- A bachelor's degree in accounting is required for this position along with three to five years of cost accounting experience
- One must also have a moderate level of organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Products
- A high level of initiative
- One must have a moderate level of written and verbal communication skills, accuracy to their quality of work
- Ability to work independently, strong problem solving skills, and moderate level of leadership
- Extensive SAP experience
- The ability to multi task
- Have good customer service skills
