Job Description :
We have an exciting opportunity with a Mobile Fleet Maintenance company in Placentia, CA. 

 


The primary duties and responsibilities for the Assistant Fleet Service Coordinator include but are not limited to the following:



  • Setting up all outgoing job preparation, including generation of repair orders and making updates in scheduled activities

  • Being a primary contact for communication and coordination with vendors

  • Lead communication with customers via phone to alert, confirm and obtain approval for services due


·         On-Call Rotation: Provide after-hour support, as needed, for customers who call in and need service after Client regular business hours. 


 


Tasks



  • Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.

  • Locate and attach appropriate files to incoming correspondence requiring replies.

  • Schedule and confirm appointments for clients, customers, or supervisors.

  • Conduct searches to find needed information, using such sources as the Internet.

  • Provide services to customers, such as order placement or account information.

  • Operate electronic mail systems and coordinate the flow of information, internally or with other organizations.

  • Use computers for various applications, such as database management or word processing.

  • Create, maintain, and enter information into databases.

  • Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents.

  • Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions.

  • Compose, type, and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence, or reports, such as presentations or expense, statistical, or monthly reports.


 


 



  • For extended time periods, up to approximately 2 hours per occurrence, multiple times per day:


    • sit at a desk; answering phone calls, making phone calls; looking at computer screen; working on computer; operating a mouse; typing on keyboard; setting up meetings and/or contact coworkers, vendors, and customers.


  • For shorter time periods, up to approximately 30 minutes per occurrence, multiple times per day:


    • scanning, printing, copying on business machine; walking to and from coworker offices, work stations, and warehouse to perform various tasks; standing; filing or accessing physical files;


  • For brief time periods, less than 5 minutes per occurrence, occasionally multiple times per day:


    • lifting / handling / sorting office supplies, materials, or equipment weighing up to 35 pounds.
