Our client, a major utility company, has a need for a contract Recruiter to work with their HR Team in Detroit, MI.




This contract position is currently budgeted for 12 months (possibility of extension) and offers a pay rate of $50-$52/Hour (based on experience).




We are looking for a highly motivated Recruiter to lead the development of strategic plans to recruit strong talent in to difficult to fill Distribution Operations roles. The Recruiter will need a strong focus on creating positive consultative partnerships and project management skills are critical to success in this role. Candidates must possess excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills and an ability to effectively communicate across multiple organizational levels.


 


The Recruiter will be responsible for the following tasks: 



  • Develop and manage strategic recruiting projects and activities.

  • Find, attract qualified candidates and fill job vacancies.

  • Design and implement diversity recruitment programs that align with the mission, goals, and objectives outlined in the organization.

  • Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of strategic projects and initiatives.

  • In partnership with Corporate Communication deploy virtual marketing campaigns. Identify and attend career fairs and outreach events. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with professional development organizations.


 


 

Required Qualifications :
Qualifications


  • Bachelor degree  in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, or a related discipline

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in executive or corporate recruitment

  • 2 years of progressive project management experience preferred

  • Experience working on initiatives for the recruitment of diverse candidates

  • Experience with Social Media Recruiting tools

  • Proficient with the use of MS Office and Applicant Tracking software (Taleo, SuccessFactors, ICIMS, etc.)
