Overview



Our client, a major chemical manufacturer, is looking for a contract QA Analyst to work onsite at their production facility in Wyandotte, MI. 




This is a long-term contract position (possible extension or direct hire for the right candidate) with a pay rate of $21.00/Hour. 




The QA/QC team is seeking a Quality Analyst to be responsible for conducting quality assurance routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in process, and finished products analysis according to standard operating procedures


 


Responsibilities



  • Analyzing and reporting of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods samples in conjunction with monitoring plant operations through analytical results. 

  • COA generation, quality release, and analysis reporting using SAP database.

  • Assist in the preparation of testing solutions. 

  • Support Quality Systems such as ISO, cGMP, RCMS, and NCM. 

  • Perform other job duties as assigned.


  


Schedule


Monday - Friday 11 AM - 7 PM 


 


** Will have to occasionally fill in on weekends to cover vacation schedules **


 


Required Qualifications :
 

Qualifications



  • Previous Lab Experience (professional or academic) is REQUIRED

  • Knowledge of test methods, processes, and laboratory equipment for raw material, liquid and finished products.

  • Must have knowledge of lab equipment such as balances, and titration equipment.

  • Microsoft Outlook and SAP software experience is REQUIRED

  • High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years chemical laboratory experience.  

    • B.S. Chemistry degree & 1-3 Years of practical laboratory experience is Preferred
