Job Description :

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer in product development in Auburn Hills, MI!




This person assists in specifications, design, redesign and development of existing and current military vehicles, subassemblies, detailed parts and fixtures working under general direction.  Interfaces with product design, prototype parts fabrication, vehicle build-up, test, ongoing development engineering and follow-up of initial and post-production.




Additionally, you will also assist in establishing design parameters to achieve most cost-effective approach consistent with the end item of the customer’s specifications, performance and reliability objectives, under general supervision.  They will ensure that products meet Federal, State, local, and military regulations for such items as safety and emission standards.

Required Qualifications :
 

Must have 



  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field

  • Willing to travel off site to test and vendor facilities

  • 3+ years’ experience in automotive design and manufacturing

  • Ability to create schematics to be used for troubleshooting and harness design

  • Previous military product development including familiarity will military specifications and standards
