Our client is looking to add some Procurement Clerks to their Supply Chain team in Tempe, AZ!

These contract positions are currently budged for 9 months (possibility of extension or direct hire for the right candidate) and offer a starting pay rate of $23/hour.

***This role is 100% remote until further notice***

Job Summary 

The Supply Chain Procurement Clerk is responsible for Processing Purchase Orders (POs), expediting orders, reconciling P.O. to invoice exceptions and other general administrative support as needed in the operation of the Supply Chain function II. Scope: Part of a centralized team supporting multiple market areas 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Reviews and dispatches purchase orders to approved suppliers in a timely manner and in accordance with established procurement policies and procedures.

  • Works with the Accounting assist with resolving supplier payment issues.

  • Adheres to procurement policy.



  • High School diploma or GED 

    • Preferred Education: Associates Degree (business related or technical).

  • Zero to two years of experience in a procurement or accounting related position

  • Preferred Experience: 

    • Transactional buying experience in waste, trucking, equipment or services related industries.

    • Some business or financial analytics experience 

    • Experience with PeopleSoft a plus Skills: 

    • Competent using basic MS office productivity tools such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access. 

    • Able to perform basic research and extract information from data.
