Occupational Health Nurse (Temporary - Maternity Leave Coverage)

📍 Location: Dodge Center, MN
📅 Start Date: March 10, 2025
💰 Pay Rate: $47.10/hr
⏳ Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (Overtime as needed)

Our client, a leader in heavy manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Nurse for a temporary role covering maternity leave. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees while maintaining compliance with occupational health standards.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Provide physical and psychological nursing care to employees, offering health guidance and support.
✔ Manage workers' compensation claims, ensuring timely resolution and effective return-to-work strategies.
✔ Oversee the early return-to-work program and collaborate with legal teams on claim management.
✔ Conduct employee health training and maintain compliance with OSHA programs (hearing conservation, bloodborne pathogens, pulmonary function testing, etc.).
✔ Manage the substance abuse program and act as the CEAP Coordinator.
✔ Administer DOT random drug testing and coordinate pre-employment physicals, drug testing, and annual medical monitoring.
✔ Maintain OSHA 300 logs and all required reports to meet governmental compliance.

Qualifications:

✅ Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
✅ Valid Wisconsin RN License
✅ 3+ years of Occupational Nursing experience in a heavy manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

➕ Knowledge of state workers’ compensation laws and health & safety regulations
