We have an awesome opportunity for a Material Handler with a team we are partnered with in East Granby, CT. 


The hourly pay for this role is $21.24/hour and this role is expected to be temporary 2-month contract. (Possible extension into early 2025) 


 

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM (no weekend work)


Interview Process: 1 phone interview with the manager
Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen


 


Job Summary:


The Material Handler will support internal and external customers through accurate receiving, stocking, delivery, and shipment of materials. This role includes operating all material support equipment and performing essential material support functions in the assigned Operations facility.


 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Efficiently locate and pull materials/supplies based on production/sales orders and stock assigned production areas to maintain inventory levels.

  • Verify parts and quantities accurately and complete Bills of Lading (BOLs) for receiving and shipping materials.

  • Operate all material handling equipment (e.g., Stand-up, Sit-down, Combi, Lancer, Tugger) safely and efficiently.

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures and proper 6S standards.

  • Follow all safety procedures in the operation of various material support equipment.
