We have an exciting opportunity in Warren, MI with a great client who is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Process Supervisor.


 

The pay rate for this contract opportunity is $38-43/hour and is based on experience.

 

The Manufacturing Engineering Process Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of engineers in the concept, design, development, build, install and launch of Body-In-White equipment and tooling. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

 


Interface with the plant management, product engineering and facilities engineering to develop common optimized solutions to vehicle build challenges.

 




Requirements:



  • Supervise electrical engineers to procure electrical test equipment for General Assembly at Vehicle Assembly Plants.  

  • Equipment includes but not limited to Electrical Testers, Flash Stations, Tire Pressure Monitor, and Roll test. 

  • Ensure all equipment meets product engineering requirements and conforms to program cost and timing.  

  • Completed Bachelor Degree, electrical highly preferred


 


MUST HAVE 3-5 years’ experience:



  • Manufacturing supervision.

  • Electrical test equipment for General Assembly at Vehicle Assembly Plants.  Equipment includes but not limited to Electrical Testers, Flash Stations, TIre Pressure Monitor, and Roll test.  Be able to ensure all equipment meets product engineering requirements and conforms to program cost and timing. 

  • Assembly Plant Electrical Test Equipment

  • Experience managing and controlling all projects assigned to Electrical Engineers concerning  electrical test processes & equipment and/or the torque related processes & equipment for  assembly plants.

  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and a broad understanding of manufacturing processes.

  • Solid project management and problem solving skills.

  • Solid skills with Microsoft Office and Google Suite

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Self-motivated champion of change.

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

  • Ability to work overtime and travel as required local 10-20%
