Job Description :
We are currently looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Associate to join our team on a contract basis. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for accuracy, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cycle counts and manage quarterly inventory processes.
- Accurately enter received materials into our inventory system.
- Follow up on overdue purchase orders to ensure timely deliveries.
- Verify and check Sales Orders for accuracy.
- Update and monitor the production schedule regularly.
- Create work orders for part production as needed.
- Communicate low inventory levels between the shop and purchasing departments.
- Process returned materials efficiently.
- Serve as a backup for purchasing tasks, including:
- Issuing purchase orders for materials and coordinating drop shipments to customers.
- Assisting the sales team in checking lead times with vendors.
- Monitoring and updating order statuses.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Skills:
- Basic data entry proficiency.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective listening and communication abilities.
- Mathematical proficiency.
Physical Requirements:
- This role requires frequent standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms.
- Ability to lift items weighing between 10-20 lbs regularly, with a maximum lift of up to 50 lbs.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational abilities.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
