Job Description :
We have an awesome client in the Auburn Hills area that has the immediate need for two Implementation Specialists to join their team. 

 

The Implementation Specialist will be responsible for implementing customers with their proprietary suite of application which may include integration with the customer's 3rd party or ERP system. 

 

The Implementation Specialist must be able to lead and manage multiple projects, ensure implementation and integration goals are reached according to project plans, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. 

 

The Implementation Specialist ensures all requirements are met before going "live."

 

The starting salary for this role is $60,000/year and is based on experience. 

 


Duties/Responsibilities



  • Lead customer facing conference calls and webinars to gather requirements, discuss project status, discuss issues, demonstrate system functionality, etc.

  • Outline most efficient and effective solution based on customer requirements.

  • Define and execute interface options with 3rd party systems (Ariba, Jaggaer, Coupa, SAP, etc) or accounting integration if necessary (Lawson, Quickbooks, etc)

  • Ability to outline and document mapping requirements for cXML and EDI documents


    • Provide appropriate documentation to development team

    • Verify mapping in test environments

    • Provide approval to move to production environment

    • Verify mapping in production environments


  • Document customer requirements and determine overall process flow for purchasing, invoicing and payment processes.

  • Create and manage project plan and timeline that are agreed upon from all parties.

  • Configure and test PO and Invoice integration into various ERP or 3rd party systems.


    • Includes cXML and EDI integration


  • Ensure that all tasks associated with integrations are completed on time and within customer expectations.

  • Conduct weekly integration calls, document meeting minutes and communicate meeting notes to all parties.

  • Provide timely follow-up to external communications relative to integrations.

  • Research and evaluate internal and external reported system issues


    • Determine if configuration or system issue

    • Analyze impact of proposed solution across the business

    • Conduct test scenarios and provide to development team based off findings

    • Manage internal and external expectations on resolution depending on urgency of the issue


  • Lead and participate in internal project status meetings on weekly basis to update team on progress of tasks and discuss roadblocks, etc.

Minimum Educational/Work Requirements/Additional Information:



  • Proficient in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access)

  • Minimum two years of relevant work experience with systems integration projects

  • Knowledge of web-based supply chain management applications at a corporate level, particularly procurement modules (Ariba/SAP, Jaggaer, Coupa, ESM) is preferred

  • Experience with ecommerce and system integrations including knowledge of: punchout, hosted catalog content management, EDI, cXML and XML

  • Experience with electronic payment or financial applications preferred

  • Experience in writing functional specifications

  • Experience in Use Case development

  • Experience setting up/executing test scenarios

  • Experience with Salesforce

  • Working knowledge of Project Management principles and practices

  • Demonstrates high level of attention to details and attention to quality

  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

  • Able to learn new skills, technologies, information effectively

  • Demonstrates good decision-making skills

  • Superior analytical and trouble shooting skills

  • Demonstrates good organizational skills

  • Working knowledge of web-based technologies for training and presentations

  • Working knowledge of web-based application launches including customization and system integration

  • General knowledge of data security as it relates to internet payment options

  • Able to provide written process documentation for new procedures

  • Able to provide constructive and timely feedback to peers, management, subordinates

  • Able to demonstrate leadership

  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills

  • Able to train others and make presentations

  • Able to manage multiple projects

  • Bachelor of Science preferred
