Helpdesk Technician

Job Description :
We have an awesome client in the Auburn Hills area who has the immediate need for Helpdesk Technicians. The Helpdesk Technicians will be responsible for configuring, troubleshooting, and monitoring the functioning of personal computers, server systems, and undertake pre-emptive maintenance.

 

The Helpdesk Technician will also aid other teams in supporting different operating systems, respond to phone calls, messages, and emails relating to system issues or hardware problems. 

 

The starting salary for this position is $45,000/annually and is based on experience.



Requirements:



  • Diagnose computer errors and provide technical support.

  • Troubleshoot software, hardware and network issues.

  • Train end-users how to setup and use new technologies.

  • Backup and restore an organization's data files and systems.

  • Install, configure and upgrade PC software and operating systems.

  • Clean and repair computer hardware, such as keyboards and printers.

  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Group policy

  • Maintain ticketing system
