Key Responsibilities:

• 🌿 Perform general greenhouse tasks including planting, watering, fertilizing, trimming, and seed harvesting.


• 📦 Manage seed inventory (25,000+ packets), including sorting, scanning, labeling, and updating digital records.


• 🔬 Assist in plant tissue sample collection and maintain accurate data using Microsoft Excel and other software.


• 🦟 Conduct pest control tasks such as insect scouting, pesticide/herbicide application, and integrated pest management.


• 🏗 Maintain and clean greenhouse facilities and ensure compliance with biosafety and stewardship protocols.


• 🛠 Operate equipment and maintain proper documentation of activities.

Qualifications:

✅ High school diploma required (Associate’s/Technical degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field preferred).
✅ Experience in seed inventory management or greenhouse/field work is highly desirable.
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking inventory and data entry.
✅ Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and maintain high accuracy in a lab setting.
✅ Comfortable working in hot, humid environments and standing for extended periods.
✅ Strong attention to detail—accuracy is essential for this role!
