General Production Associate




Location: Sacramento, CA
Pay Rate: $19.50/hour
Shift: Day Shift




Job Summary:
The General Production Associate plays a critical role in the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality doors. This position involves operating machinery, assembling doors, inspecting products for quality, and performing various tasks to ensure production efficiency. Successful candidates will demonstrate attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.




Key Responsibilities:



  • Operate small and large machinery used in the door production process.

  • Assemble doors on the production line, adhering to quality standards.

  • Inspect all products to ensure they meet quality specifications.

  • Machine doors for hardware installation as required.

  • Prepare and handle materials for production tasks.

  • Stage and package finished products for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.

  • Perform general warehouse duties as assigned, including cleaning and organizing the workspace.

  • Follow all prescribed safety rules and maintain equipment in good working order.


 


Required Qualifications :

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:



  • Previous experience in commercial woodworking, including doors, millwork, or cabinets.

  • Background in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

  • General knowledge of building materials and their applications.

  • Ability to perform basic math calculations and use hand-held measuring tools accurately.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Physical ability to stand, lift, and move materials throughout the shift.
