Food Service Worker

Location: Erlanger, KY
Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay: $15/hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Food Porter to join our team in Erlanger, KY. The Food Porter will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of food items, maintaining cleanliness in the food preparation and serving areas, and assisting kitchen staff as needed. This role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our food service environment.

Responsibilities:

• Transport food and supplies between storage, preparation, and serving areas.


• Assist with the setup and breakdown of food stations and dining areas.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food service areas.


• Ensure all food items are properly stored and labeled.


• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed.


• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to management.


• Dispose of trash and waste according to sanitation guidelines.


• Follow all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a food service or porter role is preferred.


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.


• Good physical stamina; ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.


• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.


• Flexibility to work the 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM shift.


• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
