Job Description :

Livonia-based manufacturer has an immediate need for a Financial Analyst.


 


The Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting the controller managing all financial and accounting functions of the business unit. Looking for an energetic finance business partner with an in-depth finance expertise, with an interest in evolving in a manufacturing industry in a fast-paced environment.


 


Responsibilities:


-Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, quarterly and annual and any other    analysis required by management


-Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts


-Responsible for the cost accounting section & the in-depth analysis of manufacturing expenses


-Responsible for the collection and management of accounts receivable


-Coordinate inventory cycle count on a monthly basis


 -Participate to the implementation of the ERP system'


 


Required Skills:


-The candidate must be highly motivated, hands-on, with strong computer skills and a good knowledge of manufacturing environments.


-The candidate must be results oriented and enjoy challenges.


-The candidate must have good accounting knowledge, very good analytical skills as well as knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite above average.


-The candidate must be a good communicator and have good interpersonal skills while promoting teamwork.


The candidate has the ability to solve practical problems through problem definition, data collection and the establishment of valid conclusions.


 


Qualifications:


        Master’s degree in accounting or related field


        CPA or in the process to obtain the CPA Experience in the manufacturing industry (an asset)


        Strong skills in Excel and in the Microsoft Office suites
