Our Client is looking for an Electronics Technician, familiar with electronics and programming of electronics (not writing code, just adding programs), in New Hudson, MI
Job Details
- Location: New Hudson, MI 48165
- Pay Rate: $26.00/hour
- Duration: 3-month contract, with potential for full-time employment
- Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday (Daytime)
- Travel: Minimal

Role and Responsibilities
This position is focused on building wire harnesses for vehicle electrification, supporting prototype and concept vehicle development, particularly for electrified, autonomous, and unmanned vehicle platforms.
Key tasks include:
- Building wire harnesses from start to finish, following IPC 620 standards.
- Interpreting engineering schematics, pin schedules, and loom drawings.
- Performing quality assurance checks on lab products and assisting in troubleshooting.
- Installing electrical components onto vehicles and using electronics tools (voltmeter, power supplies, soldering iron, etc.).
- Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and providing process feedback.

- Attention to Detail and Reliability are mandatory.
- Build Experience is highly preferred.
Certifications & Skills
- IPC 620 certification is crucial.
- Experience in military or motorsport harness builds is beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and electronics tools like voltmeter, soldering iron, and hand tools.
- Familiarity with high voltage systems and automotive systems is a plus.

- Experience: 1-2 years of wire harness building experience is preferred.
- Preferred Backgrounds: Candidates from tech schools or companies like General Dynamics; avoid headhunting from direct competitors like Roush.
