Our client. A major utility company is looking for some Quality Analysts to support their team in Detroit, MI!


 


* This is a long-term contract assignment with the possibility of extension or direct hire for the right candidate and offers a starting pay rate of $26/hour (benefits are available)*


  


Job Overview




We are seeking a Quality & Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing data, monitoring work quality, and identifying process improvements. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively to solve moderately complex problems.


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data, assess programs, and provide comprehensive reports on productivity and work statistics.

  • Process Improvement: Identify operational breakdowns and recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency and quality.

  • Quality Monitoring: Evaluate customer service activities such as bill adjustments, collections, and billing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Performance Evaluation: Monitor and assess customer interactions, providing feedback and training to enhance service quality and professionalism.

  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure work operations align with quality and safety regulations, company policies, and program specifications.

  • Vendor Support & Collaboration: Assist with collection vendor campaigns, inquiries, and invoice processing while working closely with accounts payable.

  • System Analysis & Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve collection system defects, providing actionable insights and recommendations.


Required Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 3 years of experience in a customer service-related field, such as billing analysis, revenue management, or meter reading.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Windows-based applications.

  • Ability to interpret reports, identify trends, and propose solutions to operational challenges.

  • Ability to work independently with innovation and initiative.

  • Occasional travel may be required.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

  • Familiarity with billing and collection systems used to manage outside collection agencies
