Our client, a major utility company, is looking for a Compliance Analyst with legal background to support their offices in Detroit.


 


THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH A PAY RATE OF $29/HOUR


 


Summary




The Compliance Analyst is responsible for the coordination and completion of all government, regulatory, and compliance documents for all business units in an organization.


 


The Analyst works closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from numerous business units to ensure process documentation and programs meet compliance requirements and ensures that sustainment activities for the processes will meet audit standards.


 


The Compliance Analyst also supports leaders in developing, monitoring, sharing, and improving processes and documentation associated with Electric NERC (North America Electrical Reliability Corp) standards adherence.


 


Additionally, the Compliance Analyst supports the implementation and continuous improvement of process clarity, process awareness, process performance measurements, process management, and documentation management.


 


A certain degree of creativity and latitude is needed in this role; must be willing and able to "think outside of the box".


Required Qualifications :
Qualifications

 



  • Must have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in utilities (electric/gas). 





  • Must be familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures related to the field of electric utilities. 



  • Bachelor Degree STRONGLY preferred; Minimum of Associate Degree and 5+ years of experience is Required
