Our leading agricultural chemical company client has immediate openings for a Chemical Operator at the Sparks, GA site.
This is a contract role currently budgeted for 6 months with the possibility of extension or direct hire. Benefits available. The pay Rate is $17.00 hourly.
Job Opportunity: Manufacturing Operator – Rotating Shift

💰 Pay Rate: $17 - $20 per hour
🕒 Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Nights every 4 weeks)
Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and reliable Manufacturing Operators to join our team in Sparks, GA. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, requiring candidates with previous experience in manufacturing and a preference for those comfortable with rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Batching & Blending: Operate in various batch plants, ensuring accuracy in chemical mixing.
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other material-moving equipment.
- Production & Packaging: Load drums, bags, and sacks with finished solid chemical products.
- Safety & Compliance: Identify and report safety concerns while following all company policies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate daily production records.
- Process Operations: Support chemical processing and other operational activities as needed.
- Housekeeping & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth production flow.
Essential Qualifications:
✔ Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial settings preferred.
✔ Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights every 4 weeks) and overtime as needed.
✔ Strong attendance record and ability to remain focused on tasks.
✔ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with hands-on tasks.
✔ Forklift experience or willingness to learn.
✔ Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs.
✔ Comfortable working from heights and confined spaces.
✔ Must be able to wear proper protective equipment (PPE), including a face mask or shield when required.
✔ Basic computer skills for logging production details.
✔ Strong teamwork, communication, and safety awareness.
