Job Description :


Our client, a major chemical manufacturer, is looking for contract Chemical Operators to join their team in Erie, PA.  This is a contract position with possibility of direct hire for the right candidate, and pays $14/hr on rotating 12-hour shifts.


This position is responsible for providing support to team members in activities such as operation of chemical processes and other operational activities as needed.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Milling, mulling, spheroidizing, blending in various batch plants

  • Operate forklift/fork truck, hand truck and other common material moving equipment

  • Loading of drums and sacks with finished solid chemical product

  • Complete all required daily documentation as it relates to production

  • Be responsible for identification of and reporting of safety violations or concerns and be generally responsible for the duties that will be assigned to them.


Rotational Shift
Shift rotates from Day Shift (7 am to 7 pm) to Night shift (7 pm to 7 am) every 2 weeks
Will work 3 consecutive 12-hours shifts then off for three days

Pay Rate

Due to PPE requirements, the site has No Facial Hair policy

Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum 1 year of production/manufacturing experience REQUIRED

    • 3 years experience as a chemical operator preferred

  • Basic computer skills REQUIRED

    • SAP experience preferred

  • Must be willing to work all shifts and overtime as required.

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment

  • MUST be able to comply with all Safety and PPE Requirements

    • Due to PPE requirements, the site has No Facial Hair policy
