Our client, a major chemical manufacturer, is looking for a contract Lab Tech for their Southfield, MI, site.

This is a long-term contract position. Chemistry Lab experience (professional or academic) is required.

OVERVIEW

This position has the primary responsibility of supporting the development of solutions for the Automotive Coatings Industry. The position is working in a chemistry lab. Duties include, but are not limited to, mixing chemicals, testing samples, and documentation

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous lab experience (professional or academic) performing experiments & familiar with basic chemical mixing is required 


• Experience in vendor management - ordering materials, cataloging materials is a plus 


• Basic knowledge of chemical instrumentation, compatibility, handling, and storage are required 


• BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering  preferred (no Bio please)
