Job Description :

We have a great client in the Metro Detroit area that is looking for a Chassis Simulation Systems  Engineer to join the team! 


 


This long-term contract position. 


 


The Chassis Simulation Systems  Engineer be responsible for 3D MBD modeling and analysis in the design and development of military vehicles, sub-assemblies, and detailed parts, as well as, developing physics-based and high fidelity models of vehicle systems and subsystems using MBD tools along with MatLab, AMESIM, MSC/ADAMS, and Virtual Lab.


 


The Chassis Simulation Systems  Engineer will also run simulations with the models against a range of vehicle and environmental parameters to evaluate performance of systems.


 


The Chassis Simulation Systems  Engineer must have Chassis experience, experience with Medium to Heavy Duty Truck desired, client is working with Humvee’s, Defense Contract Experience desired, DOD experience a plus, hands on, roll up your sleeves, plant floor experience, BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, 2-5 years of MBD vehicle simulation and development experience using MSC/ADAMS or Virtual lab desired, Software experience with LMS Virtual Lab, or MSC/ADAMS, ADAMS/CAR, MatLab and AMESIM, and experience with general system analysis activities and product development.
