Our client is looking to add some Business Analysts to their team in Houston, TX. 




 


These contract positions are currently budged for 7 months (possibility of extension or direct hire for the right candidate) and offer a starting pay rate of $48.50/hour.


 


 


Job Summary 




The Business Analyst III conducts highly complex business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.




Additionally, they may act as team leader on systems projects, establishing and communicating common goal and direction for the team. They coordinate activities of the project team, project plans, and assist in monitoring project schedules and costs.





 


Required Qualifications :

Qualifications



Required



  • Bachelor Degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or similar area of study, and 7or more years experience in a similar role


  • Intermediate skills in one or more of the following: 




    • PeopleSoft HRMS systems development, implementation, upgrades and analyses 




    • QA testing 




    • Catalyst or unified business modeling, system design and analysis 




    • Web application development




    • Imaging technology




    • Subject matter knowledge such as benefits, payroll, and basic accounting, project management, conducting training 






Preferred



  • Master Degree and CBAP 

  • JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, Powerpoint, Lucid Charts/Visio

  • Agile Project development

  • SQL Knowledge

  • Experience in building custom applications
