Job Description :

 Our client is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team in Palmyra, MO 


 

This long-term contract role offers a pay rate of $20 - $25 hourly with the potential of extension or direct hire. Benefits are available. 

 


What You’ll Do:


Provide daily administrative support to ensure smooth site operations
Coordinate onboarding for new hires
Manage procurement – submit purchase requisitions, process invoices, track orders, and order supplies
Liaison with key vendors (e.g., uniforms, supplies, and services)
Handle mail and package distribution
Support meetings & events – book rooms, order lunches, coordinate vendors for company-wide events (Family Day picnic, Holiday Party)
Assist with shipping & receiving and processing work orders
Oversee site communications – maintain the intranet, digital board, email updates, and newsletters
Manage employee programs – safety boot program, promotional item orders
Maintain document retention services (Iron Mountain)
Facilitate quarterly townhalls for the site director


Required Qualifications :

 

What You Need:


High School Diploma
3-5 years of administrative and/or procurement experience
Strong communication & customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Time-management & organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Experience with SAP for invoicing & procurement (Preferred)
Vendor management experience (Preferred)
