Job Description :

Our client, a major utility company, is looking for an entry level accounting professional to support their team in Detroit, MI, as a Financial Analyst.

This is a long-term contract position (eligible for extension or direct hire for the right candidate) with a starting pay rate of $37.95/hour (benefits are available).

Selected candidates will work a hybrid schedule (3 days on site, 2 days remote).

Current College Students welcome in the field of Accounting, Finance, or Business.

Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

Analyzing financial data using work management system, ERP System, and Asset Management System.

Utilize Excel with intermediate to advanced features to analyze account data.

Required Qualifications :

Qualifications

Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
- Current students in these fields are also eligible for the role.

2+ years of experience in the financial industry.

Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications as well as with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
