We have a great client who is looking for a Payroll Program Manager in Newark CA!


We are looking for a Payroll Program Manager to lead efforts to document, improve, and scale processes in Payroll to support the rapidly growing and expanding business.  Scaling is critical to enable a successful doubling or tripling of their employee population as they approach the start of production and expand globally over the next year.


Looking for experience with:

  • 5 plus years of experience in operations and/or program management

  • Bachelor’s degree or certification in operations management, Human Resources Management, or another relevant field, or equivalent experience

  • Proven work experience in Payroll

  • Hands-on experience with Payroll, Time and Attendance, and Human Resources Information Systems

  • Diverse HR experience (payroll, operations, benefits, immigration, etc.) preferred

  • Global or international company experience preferred

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage effectively numerous concurrent projects and tasks in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment

  • Excellent written and oral communications, including education and change management

  • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to support operations

  • Demonstrated ability to design and improve operational processes

  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements

  • Demonstrated delivery of results through influence and cross-functional collaboration

  • A self-starter, who will take the initiative to lead and drive improvements without constant direction
